City Vocal Coach

I’ve been taking lessons with Valentina for almost a year and she’s the best vocal coach I’ve had after a lot of trial and error.

I’ve been going to City Vocal Coach for few months now and Im sooo happy that I started my singing lesson here with Valentina!

As this is purely a hobby for me I was a little worried starting that my desire to improve wouldn't be taken seriously (or be taken way too seriously), but Valentina's been great at giving me goals and areas to work on while still keeping the environment fun and relaxing.

Even though there are loads of you tube videos on learning how to sing online, it really doesn’t compare to having a professional giving feedback real time, personally I feel the corrections have made me a better singer more quickly than had I tried to go it alone.

I love how she offers her creative perspectives and valuable insight into the industry for New Artists, and keeps me on track with my goals!

Valentina is so warm and kind and adept at figuring out what needs work but also why it needs work, dispelling doubts that you have, and talking through any issues that you might have with your voice.

My previous highest note was C#6 and at the time I approached City Vocal I could only reach E5 (not a typo - I lost over an octave) meaning a lot of our songs were unsingable and I feared we’d need a new vocalist.

I always left my lessons with her so Inspired and gradually this gave me more confidence in my own creative abilities to then wanting to learn to play a musical instrument along side improving my voice.

She’s been amazing at seeing where my voice is at on the day, and doesn’t push the voice when its condition may be tired for example, and instead adapts to the voice’s condition.

I wouldn't consider myself a natural talent, nor someone with rhythm, but my voice and understanding of music/timing has improved significantly since starting, which is really exciting to see.
