With a decade of experience teaching pupils of all ages, I have listened to what my pupils want from their lessons and have developed my own approach that centres on creating a life long love of piano. I have found that there is an increasing need for lessons that explore the joys of playing the piano whilst allowing the pupil freedom from the pressures of a traditional exam centred structure. Although I am happy to explore exam options if required, I find that my students prefer to follow their own musical interests through a relaxed individualised, pupil centred approach.
