I’ve done a 3 week course with Alison and learned so much , I’ve now got the sewing bug and will attend more workshops .

It’s exactly what I needed to gain the confidence to sew and I'm just trying to decide what class I want to book next, as there are so many good ones to choose from!

Alison was wonderful putting you at ease from the moment you walked through the door.

I had already done some of the skills we learnt and some were new to me but even the skills I thought I knew I have now learnt far better and neater ways of doing them.

As I’m pear shaped, I’ve always struggled with finding a dress that fits Alison helped me with the fitting so I’ve ended up with my own made to measure garment.

Alison was excellent at explaining everything, which allowed me to show off my finished projects to friends and family (sure they’re fed up with me now).

I'm able to create things I want and to live more sustainably — both really important values that I want to double-down on more than ever these days.

I'm booked onto 2 more workshops (Alterations and making a fit and flare dress) Really hope they extend their range of courses.

Learned so much and Alison is a great teacher - knowing when to jump in and help, and when to stand back on a well thought-out and well paced 3 week course.
