As a slightly claustrophobic sceptic, I had put off my gift of a session in the flotation tank for some time. It was a case of now or never, so last night I took the plunge (! ). I didn't think I would, but I climbed into the clam like structure, closed the lid and turned off the lights immediately. It was more welcoming than I had expected and the fact that it was pitch-dark and top sealed did not faze me. I loved the sensory deprivation and being alone with a complete sense of calm and relaxation was worth getting wet for. It did not feel, to me, like being in water, more like floating in space. It was an hour well spent, as I slept like a baby with the added bonus of really soft skin. I'll definitely do it again.

Lovely place, lovely staff - very professional but comfortable.
Nice to have more holistic traditional methods of yoga ambience, burning of incense for 1/2 classes may be to ignite the senses - smell and the use of chants for sound and ignition of chakras )throat chakra in this case.
As someone who has spent years dedicated to high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and weightlifting, I was initially skeptical about incorporating yoga into my fitness regimen.
The studio is lovely and clean and the classes are great - I really enjoy starting my day with the morning ones.
