Come and explore your creativity… and learn how mandala art can be used to create a meditative experience. Please note, you don't need to be 'good at art' to attend this workshop! You will receive a basic introduction into the history of mandalas and you will enjoy a mindful creative and therapeutic experience from creating your very own unique and beautiful geometric design. Mandala is a Sanskrit word which means centre or circle. From this centre point a range of symbols and shapes emanate. For thousands of years mandalas have been used in many cultures for self-expression, personal growth and spiritual transformation. The process of creating a mandala is in itself a wonderful metaphor for life's journey... how we navigate pathways, intersections, follow lines of interest, pause to step back and contemplate the whole, trust the gradual unfolding without knowing the end result.
