FAQs

How long is a course?

Each term is 9-10 weeks long with breaks for school holidays. We find termly swimming works really well for children and parents. You will begin together, progress and support each other, cheer on your achievements each week and become quite a team!

When should I feed my baby before class?

It is advisable to feed an hour or so before class, however babies who are breast or bottle fed can have a small feed at any time. We advise toddlers and pre school children not to eat within 2 hours of class. Our older children work hard in the water and a full tummy can result in them feeling uncomfortable or being sick in the pool.

Can I move class to an alternative day or pool?

Should you wish to move to an alternative day or pool for your next course please let us know before the rebooking deadline by replying to your email. The transfer details are explained clearly on your rebooking email and we will do our utmost to accommodate the move.

I am going to miss a class, is there anything I can do?

Babies miss classes for a wide variety of reasons and we aim to help where possible with this. You can log absences on your parent hub and look for catch up classes where available during your booked term. There are specific terms and conditions for the amount of catch up classes available each term and the notice period required on order to qualify. Please ensure you have read your terms and conditions on your parent hub or contact us with any queries regarding this.

How do I get an underwater photo of my baby?

We offer photo shoot sessions at regular intervals during the year. Information is sent to the children on our swim levels that are able to book along with details of the readiness underwater that is needed for a shoot. We allow bookings for children who attend Aqua Babies and are happy underwater only, this is for safety reasons.
