Burley Villa School of Riding
We offer Forest trails for 90 mins or 2 hours costing £85pp and £99pp respectively. These are gentle rides in Western Saddles out through the beautiful New Forest with no roadwork. The ride will start in one of our arenas just settling everyone on their horses before heading to the Forest to ride amongst the wild ponies. We will go at walk & jog paces so the ride is only for those who have had previous riding experience. This is not for complete beginners who have never ridden. Riders must be confident on horseback and be able maintain balance, and control their horse or pony. Minimum age is 14 and maximum weight is 14st. WESTERN ADVENTURE DAY – RETURNS SEPT 12th

A wonderful place, very friendly staff gorgeous horses, fantastic trek through the New Forest.
Everyone was so encouraging and supportive of my little one who had never ridden before and was a little scared, he had the best experience and came away incredibly proud of himself with a love of horse riding, or more specifically riffing Merlin.
Staff great at quelling nerves on children as first time riders and the kids absolutely enjoyed the experience and asking to go again.
Well run, clean and tidy riding centre and livery Horse welfare is key to these guys.
Great place to learn to ride from kids to adults.

Having ridden "english" for 33 years, i commented to my husband i would like to try western riding so he booked me a lesson with Tammy at Burley Villa, and I haven't looked back.
All the horse were beautiful, look loved & were well behaved, ❤️ love their characters I felt like Chief looked after me well, he knew he didn't want to be left behind .
I would do the brush and ride again with her as I like the fact numbers are limited to 4.
