I could never have imagined I would learn so much in such a short space of time and I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and skills further.

I've been trying to learn the drums from YouTube for 12 months, so much content but I was making slow progress because I had no structure to my learning.

I have been learning drums under Barry for over 10 years since I was very young and have learned so much about drums (academic, practical and appreciation) in that time.

He is deeply passionate about his interests, music being just one of them, and has given me insights into artists and techniques that are new to me, and have helped to widen my appreciation of music.

He has been very important in providing the knowledge and technique required for our oldest son to pass his grades, and successfully audition for for a degree course at a renowned music school.

He has a way with his students where he gets things across in such a simple way, I really enjoy my lessons with him, and would put him as one of my most loyal and trusted friends.
