Attended a public speaking course at Hoopla's speakers club in May-Jun 24, led by Leo and Jodie.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of level one, two and three and I just could not stop laughing and finally made it on stage, despite my fear of public speaking!
I've left with great skills and would look to do more training with Hoopla as I loved it.
It gave me lots of tools to improve my communication skills, which we kept practicing through the duration of the course while receiving live feedback.
I have been watching and doing (continuously learning and performing) improv with Hoopa for almost 3 years, and the community spirit, their approach to teaching improv, the passion and enthusiasm that comes from the entire teaching team and staff have really brought something incredible to my life, and I encourage EVERYONE (even if - especially if - you hate the idea of it), to give improv a try with Hoopla!
Amazing funa nd increadible personal growth
The only issue I now have is that I go around frequently telling acquaintances that they need to try improv!
The final shows really make the experience worth it and leaves you feeling incredibly proud of what you achieved on the course.
