Having done some research and speaking with Naomi, i booked our team event with Jasmine Pottery studios for May this year.
She makes you feel at ease and comes around at each step and gives advice which is no way condensing, her years of practice with clay is very clear with how she shows you the way.
There was also a lovely array of pots to paint for those not wishing to get their hands dirty throwing the pots and reasonably priced.
Purchased as an 9th Wedding Anniversary gift, my husband and I spent two hours of fun, completely outside our comfort zone, throwing and painting pots, Naomi was very friendly, helpful and encouraging in spite of our ineptitude.
My boyfriend and I went to a pottery class in November - creating a Christmas tree candle light holder.
Everyone was so nice even when we weren’t good at making the pots, instructions were super clear, and they were happy to repeat them if you needed it and overall an amazing experience!
There was just me and my Mum for the pottery wheel experience and we had a lovely, patient instructor, who made sure we didn't leave without having created pots we were both really pleased with (despite us overrunning - sorry!
Lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff and an overall really good time.
