I’m looking forward to picking up my pieces in a few weeks and booking back in for a class when I can.

Matt is a talented and patient teacher, the atmostphere is friendly and fun and I cannot recommend highly enough.

Between the morning and afternoon session, we visited the pub close by, where food was delicious with lots of gluten free options.

Matt & his colleagues Brian & Anna showed so much patience & humour when sharing their knowledge, which made for a very relaxed experience.

Thanks Matt great morning, amazing venue and setting , log fire and a cuppa ☕️ too.

I've come to accept I may produce only one or maybe two decent pots in 2 hours and the rest is a contribution to the recycling bucket but each throw is a step closer to perfecting the technique.

I would advise anyone to take a lesson with Matt rather than look on YouTube.

Not only was it possible to make something I understood what an S crack was on Pottery Throwdown 🤭 I loved working with the clay and was fascinated how it responded or not to how it was handled !

We spent a really enjoyable morning learning from matt and his patient assistant how to master (😂) the 4 stages of throwing a pot 😊 it was a cracking experience I’d recommend to anyone.

I loved the atmosphere and seeing all the drying pots and finished pieces, it's truly inspiring.
