Our first session is free – it's a chance to meet each other and talk about what you would like to achieve & for me to assess your starting point. All future lessons are structured individually, based on your preferences and ability. Even if a favourite piece of music is out of your reach at the moment in its original form, I will arrange simpler versions so that you can immediately begin playing the music you love. All teaching is one to one and takes place in a relaxed informal atmosphere playing a top quality acoustic Kawai upright piano. Lessons are weekly; younger beginners may find 30 minutes long enough, whereas older children & adults will benefit more from 45 minutes or an hour – (and the higher practical grades certainly will).
