In terms of the class splits there is a very healthy membership both in senior and junior groups across the grades with a good number of Sensai and Sempai (black belts) to aid in teaching.

Sensei Mark was one of my first instructors and a significant influence on establishing karate as a foundation in my life.

You don’t need to be an athlete to join just a willingness to learn and you’ll gain so much confidence, fitness and friends.

Mark and Kasia are great teachers who have passion for working with children.

From discussions with parents Karate does offer a relatively unique opportunity for children with particular difficulties to participate in sport, to build confidence and to learn to interact with other children.

I have been training for a few years and can say that I appreciate the guidance and support supplied while training at Micklefield dojo

Lovely group of students create a great atmosphere in the dojo.
