Studio 61 is the workspace of Max Ryan, an independent multi faceted artist from Frome. After completing a Diploma in Ceramics and a Degree in Film and Moving Image in Bristol, Max had a successful career teaching Art and Design Technology. She is originally from Guernsey and now lives and works in Somerset.

Thoroughly enjoyed our pottery lesson, Max is an amazing tutor, the time seemed to pass so quickly as so much fun was being had, I could not recommend this enough
She was 100% the professional the whole way though from the design to the finished article.
She has a great eye for the colours which will suit and a wide range of different frames available to chose from.
All the girls learnt how to throw a pot on the potters wheel and had a fantastic time.
I attend one of Max's drawing classes and I've been there a few times now, she is always happy, smiley and funny.
