I am probably one of Liam's most mature students at almost 60 years of age. I have always dreamt of learning to play the drums and amazingly Liam is helping me achieve my dream. My learning speed is perhaps not as slick as it used to be but Liam has incredible patience. If I find a new groove or complex fill difficult to master, he always finds a way of breaking down the music to help me. Passing exams doesn't interest me so Liam prepares a personalised programme which is an excellent combination of theory, learning different grooves and fills as well as learning all types of music genres. Each lesson is very well structured, with rhythmic and speed exercises as warm ups followed by learning the drum accompaniments to a range of genres of music.
Liam is a brilliant drum teacher and has been extremely patient with me learning from scratch but also as I'm a bit older than a lot of his students!
