Come and join our Coffee & Spanish Conversation Mornings! These are informal, non-structured get-togethers for everybody who loves speaking Spanish away from the classroom - from the very rusty, to the just-returned-from-South America! The events are open equally to those who are already enrolled on courses with us as well as those who want to get to know our Spanish language and cultural centre for the first time. Topics of conversation are generated by the participants who come on the day, and there are no teachers present, so whilst we have speaking prompts available to start conversations the aim is for the conversation to flow organically from the interests of those who participate. The event lasts as long as everybody wants to stay - generally this is for 1 to 2 hrs, but there are no restrictions. We never know exactly how many people will come each week, but most weeks we get 15-25 people, so its a great way to meet other members of our wider community. These sessions represent a great opportunity for Spanish speakers of all levels to share their passion for the language and culture with like-minded enthusiasts. It also provides the opportunity to practice speaking and listening skills in a safe, relaxed and fun setting, getting to know new friends along the way. Whilst chatting in Spanish you can enjoy a free cup of delicious Colombian coffee (or any of our speciality teas), whicn is included in the ticket price. Croissant and pastries are sold separately.
