FAQs
Are the lessons just for women?
Our school is open to everyone. We find that the classes tend to attract more women in general, so you may find your classes are filled with mostly women however we always welcome anyone who would like to attend and give pole a go!
What do we wear for classes?
Depending on how long people have been training for will depend on what they are wearing. You tend to find the longer people have been pole training the shorter their shorts become as it makes it easier to grip when you have more skin to grip to the pole. Wear what you feel comfortable in, but be aware that you will need to be able to grip on to the pole so having shorts is really essential. You can also buy leggings that will stick to the pole and use these for some classes if you are uncomfortable with your legs out. We recommend wearing comfortable short shorts and a crop top with a t-shirt over the top. Layer up for the start of class and as you get warmer and start with pole you will find you will feel more comfortable taking off your layers. This blog HERE goes through what to expect in your first class. You can also see a video of Rebecca HERE wearing high waisted shorts, a crop top and a sports bra underneath. We would recommend wearing something like this in beginners classes. Cycle shorts are good as you can roll them up and down when required if you do not want short shorts.
What sort of music is played?
The music played during a class varies from instructor to instructor, however we do have a pole class specific playlist that we aim to play through some of the class so if you would like to add songs to this please let us know and we will add them. We always want to ensure we have a good mix of music for everyone to enjoy.
Can any age do pole?
Yes. Our classes are currently open for 18+. We may open some workshops to younger people that include different aerial activities, however at present our classes are open for everyone over the age of 18.
What available slots do you have for weekly kids classes?
When we have available sessions we add them to our bookwhen system for you to book a taster, if there are no tasters on then this means we are fully booked. We do also have different workshops, parties and activities for children and you can book these at any time as an additional option to weekly classes and as one off training sessions.
