FAQs
Do I need a partner?
No! We normally have extra instructors available at our classes who can partner you. There may also be a single man or lady in our class that is also looking for a dance partner! If you are a bit nervous or want one-to-one tuition you can also consider taking a private lesson.
Do I need dance shoes?
You do not need to purchase dance shoes to learn to dance. However as your dancing progresses, you will find that having the proper dance shoes will help you to move better around the room as they help you to use your feet and get a better connection to the floor.
What do I wear?
Please wear something that is comfortable and easy to move in. Avoid wearing trainers or any shoe with a rubber sole as it can prevent you form moving across the floor. For more information, please visit our what to wear pge by clicking here.
Can I learn to dance?
Yes! If you can walk, you can dance. We provide instruction in how to move your weight from foot to foot, hold your body and transform you into someone who isn't afraid to step up on the dance floor!
