FAQs

How long will it take me to pass my driving test?

Every learner driver is different and will each learn at their own pace. I will always strive to work as proactively as possible to give you the earliest opportunity to pass your test. It is strongly advised that you do not book any practical tests without discussing them with me first.

How do I manage my lesson bookings?

I work on a rolling 4-week basis booking 4 weeks initially and then adding additional weeks for each lesson completed. This is inputted into the Total Drive app that I use, here you can view your lessons.

What days and times do you teach?

I am somewhat flexible in my hours but more core teaching is weekdays from 10 am to 6 pm and weekends from 10 am to 2:30 pm. I do not provide lessons on Sundays

Can you use a reversing camera or parking sensors when on test?

Yes, providing the equipment is factory fitted there is nothing to stop you from using the equipment but this should be used as assistance and not distract from good observations. some factory equipment is not allowed in tests such as park pilot. If you are uncertain you can always ask.

Can I use my own car for my driving test?

Yes however you will need to provide an additional rearview mirror for the examiner to use, the car must be insured, taxed and mot'd. In addition to this, there are some vehicles which are prohibited, these can be found here.
