Where will I be picked up?

The majority of our driving instructors will pick up students at their residences. However, please remember that other locations such as work or college may be arranged with early notice.

Should I shift down a gear when slowing down in traffic or pull over to the side of the road?

No, you are not required to. The fundamental rule is that the gears are avoided, and the brakes are used to slow down. Brake down to the required speed then shifts into a gear appropriate for that speed. If you have stopped on the roadside, the gear will be neutral; if you are in traffic and expect to go quickly, the gear will be first.

How can I schedule a practical test?

It is advisable not to apply for your practical test until your Instructor has informed you that you are ready. Tests frequently include a waiting period. Waiting durations vary by location but may range from a few weeks to 12 weeks.
