The syllabus is based on the guidelines from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. However, each student has different abilities and learning styles, so we will tailor the experience to your specific needs.

Weekend Wheels is a friendly and flexible driving school. With notice, we are able to pick you up from your school, college, work or home. Let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we will see what we can do.

If you need to rearrange your lesson, there is no problem- just contact your instructor. You will need to give 48 hours notice or the full lesson fee may be charged (see our terms and conditions for more details).

All our lessons are 1.5 hours long. This really 'drives' home the learning experience and supports your understanding without feeling rushed or hurried. Some people prefer extended lesson times which can be arranged.

You can only apply for your practical test after you have passed your theory test. The practical test may have an extended wait time of around 4-10 weeks. On completion of a successful mock test, your driving instructor will book a driving test with you. It is essential that your test is booked by your instructor so that the vehicle, instructor and you are all available on the same date.
