At Artist Music School, we value your strive for musical achievements versus your lesson time, therefore all group lessons are restricted to only 3-5 students. This will allow the best scope of individual attention whilst allowing healthy competition and encouragement within the classroom.

We know we want to treat our students like artists, so the first step is to get them the right tool and instruments, therefore at Artist, our campus provide state-of-the-art Yamaha upright and grand pianos . If you are taking up an instrument that is not piano or drum-kit, we will give you advice of the kind of instrument that you should purchase in your first lesson. You will also be needing a homework note book, a staff manuscript book and your passion for music, your first music text-book will be provided by us too (at a cost).

Of course this depends on your personal learning level. For beginners, our homework should take no longer than 20-30 minutes. As you level up, you will notice that the homework will take longer to finish. On average, a grade 1-3 student should practice for about 45-60 minutes, more advanced students should see for themselves. Although I would be surprised if you can finish all the homework set in under 90 minutes of high quality practicing time. Do remember to take lots of breaks in between practice, and never lose concentration when you are sitting at the piano.
