After the terrible twos and threes (I’m kidding, I’m sure your child was a real angel 😇) comes a next step of development with its own bunch of milestones. Between the ages of 4-6 children explore social skills, improve coordination, strive for independence and are often drove by curiosity ✨ I understand, that by sending your child to gymnastics you’re expecting to see results in a form of cool tricks, like cartwheels and splits. The problem is, that each child develops in their own tempo and not all are as active as others. Some really like running around, some like to play with their friends and some like to sit and just watch. And that’s ok! Our Little Stars classes are delivered in a manner that helps them reach their physical and cognitive milestones in a playful way. At this age, our main goal is to spark in our participants an interest for physical activity as well as love for gymnastics, but without discouraging them with too much commitment or discipline. Yes, girls often chat with one another. Yes, they do sometimes get up and start chasing each other for no apparent reason 🏃‍♀️ And that’s still ok! Their body needs movement and their brain needs social interaction and we wouldn’t scold them for it. Just like you wouldn’t scold a baby for pooping in the nappy, right?
