Ragwort alert!!nDriving around recently it is awful to see many fields full of ragwort which clearly havenât been pulled or sprayed at all. nThese plants are incredibly poisonous to horses and spread horrendously to neighbouring fields especially from road and motorway verges. nIt will take years to eradicate this noxious weed from our grazing pastures and it is a bigger problem than sycamore (which takes the headlines) because it causes hidden damage to the liver which, depending on the dose, kills the horse more slowly as the liver is killed off. It appears to be much more widespread again this yearâ¦â¦.please do something about it!!
