I am/my child is nervous about coming for the first time, what can I do?

Please don't be worried about contacting us as we are very professional and non- intimidating. A lot of our members felt that way too but are now doing great. We can offer a free private introduction to help with any nervousness. These can be booked at various times to suit your schedule and can be very helpful for a parent that works at the same time as our younger classes but still wish to come together to decide on their children's future training.

I'm 55, am I too old to start training?

No, we have students training in their 60's. Obviously if you are not physically fit, you will need to take it easy to start until you are up to speed, but subject to any medical condition precluding you from training, there's no reason why you shouldn't achieve your Black Belt

Will I be expected to fight with Black Belts when I start?

Beginners need to achieve a full Yellow Belt before being allowed to spar. Our sparring is semi- contact, i.e. it should make light contact but not with force, and generally you will be sparring students of a similar belt grade.
