Big THANK YOU to Alan Sensei for teaching two fantastic lessons at the Grantham Dojo yesterday, and a huge THANK YOU and WELL DONE to the brave few who endured the heat inside and outside the dojo. nIn the All Grades session Alan Sensei concentrated on the importance of hip movement and the correct placement of the back foot, leading to correct position of the back knee. The second part of the session focussed on how to use the hips in Gohon Kumite.nFor the Black Belts, the pace and intensity ratcheted up a few notches, and in a hot and sweaty 90 minutes we covered how to deliver relaxed techniques within kumite drills followed by a real treat - a new kata (for us at any rate) Joko Issei. nMany thanks Alan Sensei - always a pleasure to see you at our dojo.
