Although the majority of the martial arts techniques are hand and arm techniques, Taekwon-Do is famous for its spectacular and exciting kicks. As you train and learn these stunning Taekwon-Do kicks, part of your training will include the improvement of your flexibility.

No! We have several competitions each year a student can take part in. However, some students have no interest in competition and there is no pressure to take part.

Classes change depending on many factors. A beginner can usually expect a warm-up followed by strength and stamina exercises. After the general fitness part of the class then we normally cover Taekwon-Do technique often followed by padwork or practical training aspects of Taekwon-Do. In many classes towards the end a student learns sparring, for a beginner this will be a basic level with absolutely no contact. At the end of the class we have the cool down followed by stretching. There is always a chance for students to ask questions at the end of the class. This is a general guide but I often like to add something new to the class or mix things up.
