Of course! We're not learning to finger paint here. Injuries are par for the course, when it comes to Martial Arts. Injuries are lessons. We always say (literally) "If you don't want to get hit, you're in the wrong place, but better to get hit in here than out there." We have never had any serious injuries and we take health and safety very seriously.

Everyone can train, but please remember that we are learning to defend ourselves (or others, imagine if someone close to you was hurt and you could no longer run away) and the most effective way to do that is to disable the opponent, quickly.

Not at all. We are open to all levels, from white belt to black belt (and beyond!) and all styles. It doesn't matter if you have never punched a pad or if you've punched your way through a brick wall, you're welcome with us.

Technically in Wing Chun it's a Black Sash, though we use the term belt too. And It all depends on how often you train, practice and put the effort in. There's a lot to learn, but I would say anywhere between 3 to 10 years. You are expected to take 2 gradings a year for levels 1-7. After that, level 8 (junior instructor and above) things slow down a little as there's so much to learn, remember and perform effectively.
