Don't despair there is still time to catch up. Plenty of exam practise and targeted revision with a tutor will help tremendously. Many students lose easy marks by making simple mistakes. Good exam techniques always enable students to do well. Parents and carers - the top tip I can give you is to start private tuition as early as possible - from day one if you can. Students can easily get lost and confused in a noisy classroom and then struggle learning scientific concepts. Promising students may lose confidence and give up.
