You will begin the class with a piece of copper to experiment with textures and stamping before moving on to create your textured band ring from Sterling Silver. You will learn how to use traditional Silversmithing tools, how to texture silver, solder and form your own ring, finishing off with polishing techniques. Silver Pendant Workshop 1.30pm-4.30pm Create a unique pendant from sheet silver using your own design, ready to add to a chain.This is a complete beginners Silversmithing class, so no prior experience is needed. During the class you will be taught how to use traditional silversmithing tools, including the piercing saw to cut your own shape. You can texture your silver using hammers and the rolling mill, you can personalise with stamps, before soldering, refining and finishing off with polishing techniques.
