Our classes at Bodywise in Manchester offer a versatile approach to yoga. You will learn about the core movement principles that underpin the practice of yoga and experience how these develop strength in the body. We teach dynamic flow sequences harmonizing breath and movement which build strength, vitality and fluidity. This is balanced by a quiet yin style yoga practice which cultivates relaxation and stillness.

From the street to the ground floor there are 6 steps and a handrail up to the main door of the Buddhist Centre. The Buddhist Centre is wanting to implement full disabled access.

Up to 15 minutes after the start of class. However, please try to avoid arriving late as it does disrupt the class flow and you may miss important warm-up sequences or information.

Try not to eat immediately before class. Certainly avoid eating a big meal two hours prior to class. If you are hungry, then here are some examples of good food choices before class: dry nuts, fresh fruit (non-citrus), banana bread, celery, dark chocolate, sushi, dried fruit, fruit smoothie, sports nutrition bar, milk or soya milk.

Please take your valuables (purse, wallet, mobile, keys) into the studio with you. Please turn your mobile off or onto silent.
