FAQs

What equipment will I need?

You should have a yoga mat, two blocks, a strap, and a bolster for your physical practice in the classroom. For the theory side, you will need to keep yourself organised so a pen, paper, and a folder for keeping your work in order! A laptop or other device to access Google Classroom. A reading list will be supplied and there are several books you may wish to purchase.

Where is the course held?

The face to face teaching is held at weekends at akarmalife studios in the heart of Ampthill, Bedfordshire MK45 2AY. Ampthill is a beautiful Georgian market town with plenty of on street parking, a Waitrose, cafes and restaurants and a large park.

Is it possible to earn a living being a yoga teacher?

Teaching only classes full time can be unrealistic. You need to find your niche. Your trainers have years of experience in the health and fitness sector along with education, charity and corporate work. Train 108 offers a FREE business coaching workshop to graduates. Through this coaching we will help you build valuable skills in business, marketing and managing so that you can launch yourself as a marketable product with a successful yoga teaching career ahead.

Get in touch with Tom using the Train108 email address. We will then arrange a discovery call to discuss your interest in the course and explain the enrolment process. We can then secure you a place on the next available course.
