⭐️ The Nose ⭐️ nnThe nose plays a key part in many aspects of our breathing and is linked closely with our diaphragm, a vital part of healthy breathing. nnBreathing through our nose engages our diaphragm, which we know is essential in getting all that air into ALL of the lungs - especially the bottom which is the widest part with the most blood flow! Whereas, breathing through our mouth is more likely to engage those secondary breathing muscles which means shallow breathing. nnOur nose also filters, warms and humidifies the air we breathe in before it even gets to our larynx and the lungs, this maximises the quality.
