Absolute Ballroom is run by two professional ballroom and Latin dance tutors, Mel and Chris. Chris Woodhead has qualified I.S. TD in 1997 and is a former ballroom champion. He has competed at an amateur level and knows what it's like to come from a dancing family. Mel Earnshaw is a former British Blackpool finalist and is a student teacher working with Chris for over 5 years. With hard work and dedication, Mel has managed to work her way to the top.

We have thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt so much more than we thought possible (although it still takes a while for the steps to get from our heads to our feet!
Since attending the Cha-Samba exercise dance class l am finding it a really fun, friendly and informal way of exercising whilst learning dance steps.
On the night the dance routine was a real success and our guests were very impressed - it is a memory we will treasure always as part of our special day.

Started to learn Ballroom Dancing just to please the wife but I am now hooked on it due to the excellent teaching techniques from Chris and Mel, can not recommend them high enough
I Attend this dance class, a fun class where you can learn to dance at the right pace.
They take the time to explain each dance and take you through it step by step making it easy to understand.
The socials they organise are a great chance to practice our new skill as well as make friends with the group.
I feel i have improved massively with their tuition, i can't thank them enough.
Made new friends and, after going for a group trip to dance and the tower ballroom, Blackpool, both myself and partner have gained the confidence to have a couple of day trips there on our own which we have really enjoyed.
