A couple of times I have had the high tea which is great value for money consisting of a sandwich with salad and crisps and a scone with jam and cream and a huge pot of good tea.
It's just the place for sewing stuff and unusual gifts .

My wife and I recently celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary and our three children gave us a surprise “ high tea “ at Betty’s ( at Ashbourne) The “ high tea “ consisted of sandwiches, of your choosing, and a scone with cream and jam.
Lovely warming soup, filling sandwiches and great selection of cakes mmmm
