There are two main teaching rooms, each dedicated to the two main forms of making; throwing on the wheel and handbuilding. Each space has their own dedicated teachers who specialise in that particular discipline and ensures the most skilled teachings for each method. The classes are kept to a limited number of ten people per session, this keeps the classes intimate and allows all students to be given sufficient help in a friendly atmosphere.

I found it enjoyable and also “a great way to kickstart my weekend” (like the instructor beautifully said😄).
Loved the 1-day course offered here - our instructor was Richard M (Stick) and he was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful about making it a great experience to practice throwing for the first time.
Stick explained everything to us in detail and we had a go and he helped us along the way.
We attended Crown Works Pottery and School for a 1 day throwing course, taught by Stick.
We had a great day, learning to throw pots, stick was a great teacher, he explained everything really well.
I undertook a one day taster course where I got to do a hand building and throwing workshop where we made a teacup and pots!
5h in the afternoon looked like too much for a Saturday, but we completely lost track of time and could have easily stayed longer.
Beautiful space with very skilled teachers, I keep going back to Crown Works for my throwing on the wheel lessons, definitely worth visiting
I have started taking classes a few weeks ago and thanks to Lucia (my teacher) I improved so much and was able to make some great progress!!!
The teachers here are excellent and super friendly, making pottery feel like a walk in the park even if you're a beginner.
