Joe has been an excellent teacher and I would definitely recommend his expertise if you are looking for a drum teacher.
He teaches different types of drumming exercises like sticking exercises for the snare drum to make a concrete knowledge of basic skills.
In a very short space of time, Joe helped me achieve something I've always dreamed of but didn't think I was capable of: he got me sat down at a drum kit playing along to rock and roll songs.
He is patient with kids whilst teaching and also provides good lesson notes for practising at home in between lessons.
I love the fact that Joe suits his working style towards his students and they end up having a fun session of playing drums, making music and learning new styles and songs.
