I decided I wanted to have a go at golf and I'm so glad I did and found the beginner lessons at Barnham Broom with Darren. There were 3 other lovely people in the group which was brilliant. We were similar levels and really helped each other on our 4 week journey. Nothing was ever any trouble for Darren and his patience and supportiveness was fantastic. His coaching and encouragement was unwavering throughout and I can only say a great big thank you . It's incredible how much you can learn in a short time! !! I'm looking forward to continuing the lessons and getting out on the course. If you are thinking of lessons, do it , you won't regret it. . Sharon Corden

Time and again he identifies the key adjustment that will take the next step forward.
Helped me as late started to understand and, with a push, to implement basic fundamentals and hitting the ball on the sweet spot.
He identifies the key issues quickly, explains things very clearly and gives helpful, focused feedback on one’s efforts to improve.
Darren instantly diagnosed the source of my shank and had me hitting consistently straight irons/wedges within the first 10 mins of the lesson.
He communicates clearly, provides good feedback and things to work on outside of the lesson.
In particular helping me to understand and implement the fundamentals of set up, swing path and face angle has improved all aspects of my game.
