As a family we have been training with Steve at Kingstar for the last two years. Having trained at other martial art academies, I can honestly say that Kingstar has the most impressive facility in the area by far. Kingstar offers a range of different martial arts disciplines which means there is something to suit all family members also taking into account our different abilities and fitness levels. The range of lesson times is important to us as we are a busy family who don't work normal hours, Steve is also great at doing private classes for us sometimes at very short notice when we can't make the group lessons. My daughter trains there and the instructors are very professional and very strict with the kids.
All the instructors have incredible knowledge, interesting and funny stories and you have a top group of people who train there
There are not many gyms like this with the wealth of knowledge commitment and experience, the instructor Steve has put in his love, passion and joy of teaching others the marital arts of many countries in the hope that through his teachings the knowledge of other cultures that this will go on to enhance and go onto inspire our future generations that through knowledge comes wisdom.
A top instructor and everyone is easy to get along with no matter what standard you’re at whether that’s novice or high grade!!

Having trained at multiple gyms over the past 15 years, I can confidently say that Kingstar training centre is by far the best with unmatched knowledge and experience from all instructors.
I really enjoy the sessions, it keeps me fit, improves confidence and gives me all the best skills of combat and self defence..
