A study on six year old children showed that children given nine months of piano training scored an average of three points higher on intelligence quotient tests than those who didn't receive training. Her piano lessons helped me pass an ABRSM practical grade exam on the first attempt, gaining a merit.

My 6 year old son has been taking lessons with Alexandra since the summer and he has enjoyed them very much, he learns a lot and is always keen to come to her lessons.
Alexandra clearly has a talent for teaching as my son is very shy but he is gaining more confidence both with his piano/keyboard and socially each week.
Alexandra has lao taught him how to read the notations , difference between higher notes and lower notes, when he needs to repeat the line and when the song comes to an end.
As a native speaker Alexandra is able to contextualise conversations and help me to learn relevant vocabulary.
We are at the beginning with our lessons but it's very important that he likes it, he's confident and wants to come all the time.
