FAQs
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Here at FPS we want to give each student as much individual attention and guidance during lessons as possible, therefore we keep our class sizes small. For this reason, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy to allow enough time for other students who might be on the waiting list chance to get on the class.
Does that mean I can't do pole?
You don't have to take your clothes off if you don't want to. As you progress to more advanced moves, sticking to the pole will become more important, but if you don't want to get your skin out, you can buy grippy leggings from lots of pole dance clothing brands (a quick Internet search for 'pole leggings' will give you plenty of options to choose from).
I'm not strong enough for aerial or pole, should I come when I'm a bit fitter?
Aerial and pole does take strength, but everyone is a beginner at some point, and the best way to build this strength is by doing it. It might be hard at first, but we promise you the strength builds up quickly and you'll surprise yourself with the amount that you can actually do when you first start!
Is it safe?
We'd be lying to you if we told you that pole and aerial couldn't be dangerous at times, but with the correct guidance and equipment, it's just as safe as any other sport or fitness activity. Our instructors have years of experience practising, teaching, and even performing pole and aerial, so you can be sure that you're in safe hands. Plus, there'll always be crash mat there to catch you if you fall!
Do you have classes for children?
Our Kids and Teen classes start from 8 years old. You can find all of our Kids and Teen classes on our schedule and on the 'Our Services' page on our website.
