How Do Payments Work?

All beginners receive their first lesson free. After that, members can pay for the monthly membership via Standing Order, which is easily to set up via your online banking.

If I Have Previous Martial Arts Experience, How Would It Work?

If you have previous martial arts experience feel free to let us know what experience you have. If you have previous Shotokan experience and proof of your grade via certificate/license book then you may join as your current grade. Any other styles would need to start as a white belt.

Do I Have To Do Competitions In Order To Do Squad?

While we encourage those who attend squad to do competitions, it does not necessarily mean you have to. Members should consider that Squad is designed to support competition style grading, rather than covering the syllabus for gradings. All members are welcome to train in squad sessions, please see the 'fees' page for more information.

What If I Already Have A Gi?

If you already have a gi, great! We sell NKA badges which can be purchased to be sewn on or you can simply ask to have the logo embroidered onto the gi.

Do you have merchandise and kit?

Yes, we do, and we love it when our members want to be kitted out. We have a range of items available from popular brands - please ask to see our digital stock catalogue for details and ordering information. The stock brochure includes; gis, hand pads, leg pads, NKA embroidered badges, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, tracksuits and more.
