Great training this weekend. On Saturday we had a special workshop focusing on use of katana and shuriken. On Sunday our students were able to continue practice of throwing bo shuriken. nnEach of these weapons is a lifelong endeavour, and one day is not enough to scratch the surface. We look forward to continuing to develop these skills during our regular classes. nnOur special thanks to Fedyk Sensei of English Shotokan Academy who visited for the day. Fedyk Sensei is an extremely experienced 7th dan instructor in Kase-ha Shotokan Karate and teaches from Cossack Karate Academy in St Helens. His lessons are highly recommended for our friends who are local to the area and interested in training authentic Japanese karate.
