It's so easy to simply follow the upbringing we had and pass that onto our kids. BUT IS IT RIGHT? NO! Simply, they didn't have the knowledge we have today! They didn't know that actually shouting, causing anxiety, stress and fear in a child does exactly the opposite to what we want. We want the child to learn and do better, so we yell, get angry, cause fear! All of that causes a massive release of the chemical Cortisol. A Stress hormone. At our Child development center here in Norwich, we use unique teaching methods to RE-DIRECT the behaviour, without causing Stress or fear. With the use of simple fun and game based therapy, we're able to correct the behaviour and open up the learning and memory neural connectors, so the child recieves a reward of Dopamine, making them feel good about doing good.
