Well it's not every day that I experience anxiety, and thankfully it's also not often that I pick up the norovirus. What a week it has been. And yet, as I so often find, it is deep work being ill, tired, stressed or otherwise challenged. In the Bach flower way of looking at things, we get ill physically because somewhere along the line, we failed to spot going off our soul's path in life. Or we have acted against unity. It's a bold, uncompromising world view. And while I think we have to bring subtlety in our application of Dr Bach's approach, I do find it a useful question to ask myself. With compassion. So what was it that my sudden crippling anxiety was telling me? What had caused this return and what could lessen its grip? I discovered, as I lay inert on the sofa, holding my chest because of the pain, a breakdown in relationships had caused this sudden onset. Perhaps that is why it was my heart that hurt so badly. Time to look at this deeply and with compassion. I hope this is a useful reminder, perhaps, to do the same 💖...
