FAQs

How does Hypnotherapy work?

Firstly you are in a lot more control than you think, you allow yourself to go into practice and you are able to bring yourself out of practice. Hypnotherapy is mostly to do with accessing your unconscious, for this to be accessed successfully, you need to be relaxed. This is where I come in, through relaxing you and guiding you, I am able to assist you towards your end goal, through bringing you to a state of neutrality, your unconscious is able to reveal the best way in which to help you and also able to take on board more information.

What if i reveal more than I want to?

Your subconscious will only reveal what is helpful to you, you are in control at all times and will not reveal any more than you wish to. But in the case that you do, which is a very small chance, everything in each session is confidential and only shared between yourself and myself, within legal boundaries.

Is it Magic?

Sadly not, most of the answers which lead towards healing are within yourself, specifically within the subconscious. It takes your full commitment, along with myself guiding you for recovery to be able to occur.

How often would you recommend sessions be scheduled?

I recommend having 1 session a week, this gives your mind chance to absorb the therapy and to put it into action. This also gives your brain chance to come up with thoughts about the changes being made, which can be brought to the session the week after, making each session more personalised and effective for yourself.
