PRIMO CHILDREN"S CHOIR at INSOLE COURT The Children’s Choir meets every Thursday at 6.30pm during term time at Insole Court where The Primo School of Music has permanent premises. The choir is for children from 6 years of age. No audition is required – just a love of singing. The choir explores a diverse range of styles from popular classical via jazz, gospel, rock and musical theatre. The choir is led by Primo Director, Tim Riley who also runs the adult Insole Court Community Choir Tim has a wealth of experience working with young singers including a year at Welsh National Opera as Composer in Residence and Musical Director of National Youth Theatre Wales. Whilst your child will have a lot of fun singing, they will also be developing a strong singing technique. iIn addition, we always work from music and lots of guidance to help with music reading is given. There will be regular, exciting opportunities for choir members to perform. However we are mindful that parents have busy lives and will keep these performance opportunities convenient for parents in terms of duration and within the Cardiff area. All choir members have the opportunity to take singing exam (additional cost).
