FAQs

What do you do?

We teach styles of Tai Chi for beginners and intermediate students. We offer 1-1, small group sessions, workshops, Tai Chi experiences or taster sessions for your team or away day.

What do you specialize in?

We concentrate on the many health benefits gained from practicing Tai Chi. Although we explain the martial aspects of Tai Chi because this helps understand the movements we do not practice Push hands (Sparring).

What level of fitness do I need to have?

The style of tai chi that we teach is a form of gentle exercise. The movements are slow and smooth. Therefore if you are able to walk at a gentle pace you will have sufficient fitness to undertake tai chi. However, if you have limited mobility, or health conditions, this form of tai chi can be carried out seated. We would always advise if you are unsure to speak to your GP prior to undertaking any new exercise.

Are you licensed and insured?

We are insured with Balens and you can view the insurance document on request in class. We are registered with the Tai Chi for Health Institute and with The International Tai Chi Alliance.
