👉 What is Limited Mobility Yoga or 70+ Yoga? Loss of mobility refers to a loss of the ability to move freely and without pain. Limited mobility can occur in the upper body, lower body, or both. The causes of reduced mobility can differ significantly. Sometimes it is caused as a result of ageing, whilst other times it can an accident, neurological damage or any other physical incapacity. 👉Do I have to be over 70 years of age to attend? No, you don’t. Limited mobility can occur at any age and you can benefit from a yoga practice specific to reduced mobility. 👉Is this yoga class hard? The class is designed so you can take part with limited mobility. Often it takes place on a chair and introduces you to gentle movements of all the joints in the body. 👉But yoga is expensive… This yoga class is subsidised by the RBWM and the NHS, so we are happy that we can offer it for just £3/class or £15 for 6 classes. 👉I have no yoga equipment You don’t need anything other than a body with limited mobility – we provide everything here at the studio in Cookham. 👉Know someone who would benefit?
