FAQs

How can I book my first class?

You can arrive 20 minutes before class and sign up for our intro offer or sign up online, create an account and buy the offer. It is advisable to then book into your future classes online as we have limited space available.

Is it the same as Bikram?

We offer a similar experience to Bikram yoga, replicating the heat of hotter climates such as India where yoga originated. However, we do not stick to the same sequence of postures every time. Classes are varied and tailored to suit the needs of our clients. We incorporate flow sequences, breathing techniques and meditation to the hot hatha style that Bikram is famous for.

Can any age attend?

We advise no one under the age of 16 attends the very hot classes, although we would welcome a younger yogi into the not so hot classes. There really is no limit to the maximum age, people up to 80 have been known to practice hot yoga!

Are there any times I should avoid class?

If you are feeling unwell at all it is not advisable to practice in the hot room as you may become dehydrated and feel worse. We ask everyone to complete a health questionnaire before class.

How soon before class should I eat?

It is not advisable to eat anything up to 2 hours before class as a full stomach can make you feel very sick in the hot room. If you really need to eat something, a banana or small snack half an hour before class is ok.
